When writing your resume, make sure you save it using a unique filename. For example, Jane Doe's Resume, NOT My Resume, or Resume. When you send out your resumes to potential employers, your resume will often be saved to a desktop folder. Not only will this look more professional, but do you want your resume to be potentially lost among 10 other My Resume's?
